GIJP Mentors Jill Paul and Julia Riseman presented “The Top Ten Things Board Members can do to Raise Money (and Only One is Asking for It!)” on Tuesday, January 25, 2010. They discussed ten simple to apply actions Board members can take to support fundraising in their organizations. They covered the fundamentals of Board member involvement in fundraising and revealed the special capacity that Board members bring to the table. Jill and Julia also led a discussion around fundraising resources, examples, and ideas in the hopes of inspiring new energy to your Board’s efforts.
